Bouquet

Using their 1991 start as an acoustic two piece, Neil Shumsky (vocals/ 12 string guitar) and his friend Rachel (vocals/ guitar) went beneath the moniker of Bouquet because they induced their sincere pop of minimal innocence. Mainly playing through the entire section of Leeds and Sheffield, Britain, Bouquet would ultimately release a couple of EPs on different labels for another 2 yrs before Rachel’s 1993 departure. Eventually producing a three season hiatus, Shumsky finally reformed Bouquet in 1996 by adding Shaun Alcock (drums) and Chris Mabbs (bass). Hailing the 1997 seven-inch of “Before I Die LET ME See A Traveling Saucer” as their return release, Popstar Information followed through for the trio’s first full-length Coral Kingdom in 1998. Immediately after, Darren O’Conner became a member of that same season as another guitarist.
