Boss Tweads

Clarkfield, Minnesota garage area combo the Manager Tweads formed in the springtime of 1964, comprising performers/guitarist Shelly Seversen and Gene Miller, bassist Paul Larson, keyboardist Stan Berg, and drummer Tim Hofstad. Chiefly influenced by the English Invasion, the group was an area favorite because of its frequent looks at local teenager dances, and in 1966 released their lone solitary, “Goin’ Aside,” around the Minneapolis-based Studio room City label. Using its users poised to keep Clarkfield for university, the Manager Tweads dissolved in the springtime of 1968. Hofstad later on abandoned a profession like a stockbroker to sing gospel music, ultimately building a documenting studio and developing his own creation company. In middle-1995, the initial Manager Tweads lineup reunited for the very first time in near three decades, and some months later on Hofstad asked Miller and Larson to his studio room to begin focusing on new materials. The reunited Manager Tweads released their first-ever full-length work, Yesterday’s Close friends, in 1997.
