Born Heller

Biography

Born Heller may be the brainchild of Chicago natives Josephine Foster (ukulele, electric guitar, vocals) and Jason Ajemian (standup bass, acoustic guitar, vocals). Focusing on a stark backwoods design of neo-traditional and transatlantic folk, the duo create, arrange, and deconstruct their use an experimental advantage that’s as breathtaking since it is usually demanding. Foster, who also fronts the indie pop music group the Children’s Hour, continues to be compared to English folk story Shirley Collins. Their self-titled debut was documented by Paul Oldham in Louisville, KY, and released on Locust Information in-may 2004.
