Bongtooth

Following a demise from the multi-geographical psych art rock and roll encounter Schlong Weasel, former member Ramon Medina became a member of causes with fellow Weasel John Cramer and Kelly Geehan to create Bongtooth. The music group, which would ultimately split because of tensions between Cramer and Medina, would ultimately undertake Jim Otterson when Geehan remaining, and Curtis Mackey on drums. 1990 would observe their first recognized release of the cassette entitled “Velveeta vs. Snowplow” on Soul of Liska Information. The cassette also presented shows from Houston compatriots Dry out Nod as well as the Mike Gunn, the second option of which presented previous Schlong Weasel users Scott Grimm, Tom Carter, and would ultimately recruit John Cramer and continue to be the cornerstone music group from the Houston psych picture in the ’90s.
