Bonded by Blood

Perhaps one of the most barefaced thrash steel apprentices to emerge from the genre’s mid-2000s revival, Pomona, CA’s Bonded by Bloodstream took not merely their moniker from Exodus’ landmark debut record, but practically all of it is sonic trademarks aswell. Nonetheless, everyone was carrying it out just after that (circa 2005), and even though the band’s design lacked any track of originality, the moshing mayhem churned out by vocalist Jose “Aladdin” Barrales, guitarists Alex Lee and Juan Juarez, bassist Ruben Dominguez (afterwards changed by Jerry Garcia), and drummer Carlos Regalado, sounded as note-perfect, ‘80s-genuine as could possibly be. Therefore after self-releasing 2007’s Extinguish the Weak EP, the quintet agreed upon with Earache Information and quickly shipped their debut record, Give food to the Beast, the next calendar year, duly accompanied by 2010’s Exiled to Globe.
