Because of their lo-fi punk cosmetic and their bizarre stage shows, Berlin-based rock-band Bonaparte are occasionally called “visual garbage punk.” Founded in 2006 by Tobias Jundt, Bonaparte function more like a collective than as an average music group, and their outrageous concert events quickly garnered them interest in the musical underground. They authorized to Staatsakt, where they released their initial album, AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF, in 2008, implemented in ’09 2009 by Remuched, a dual record of remixes and live paths. This year 2010, their tune “Anti Anti” was highlighted in the film 13 Semester, and using their following two albums (2010’s My Equine Wants You and 2012’s Sorry, We’re Open up), the group fascinated larger viewers without watering down its outrageous combination of electro punk, synth pop, rock and roll, and hip-hop.
