Bold

Directly influenced simply by their friends and predecessors in Youth of Today, Bold was among the many extremely youthful, straight-edge bands that arose within the East Coast hardcore punk scene through the ’80s. The quartet was created in Westchester Region, NY, in 1983, and their amazingly solid lineup included vocalist Matt Warnke, guitarist John Zuluago, drummer Drew Thomas, and bassist Tim Brooks (the majority of who were just within the seventh quality at that time). In the beginning named Crippled Youngsters, the boys transformed to Bold to be able to better differentiate the group from the ocean of straight-edge clothes accommodating the term youth within their moniker at that time. In 1988, with a robust reputation for his or her concert events and many singles under their belt, Daring released their debut recording, Speak Out, for Revelation Information. In 1989, the users proceeded to go off to university and the music group broke up. Nevertheless, because of that album’s straight-edge anthem, “Nailed towards the X,” the music group still remains well-known within the hardcore globe. In 1994, Daring regrouped release a a mini-album known as Looking Back again. It features all the original lineup, apart from John Zuluago, who was simply changed by Tom Capone.
