Areas performed earthy tenor saxophone on information by many blues and R&B performers, including vocalist Ricky Allen, for Age group Information in Chicago in 1963, pianist Billy ‘The Child’ Emerson on some edges documented in Memphis in 1954, which Herman P. Blount (before he became Sunlight Ra) and Ike Turner also performed, Earl Hooker, B.B. Ruler and Otis Spann. Specifically, Fields played for quite some time with Buddy Man, recording often, his solos adding sparks to currently dynamic performances.
