Bob Gruen

Blessed in 1945 in NEW YORK, professional photographer Bob Gruen provides documented the international rock and roll scene for a few 40 years now, and many of his photos have grown to be iconic visual icons from the genre. Gruen provides photographed countless rock and roll superstars, including Eric Clapton, Jerry Garcia, the Who, Led Zeppelin, Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon, the Clash, as well as the Rolling Rocks, and he was John Lennon’s personal professional photographer during Lennon’s stay static in NY. Gruen’s profession summation display, Rockers, opened up in NY in 2008. Among his many books of photos are 1990’s The Sex Pistols — Chaos, 1997’s The Moving Rocks — Crossfire Hurricane, 2004’s The Clash, and 2005’s John Lennon — THE BRAND NEW York Years.
