Biography

Folk-styled CCM singer/songwriter Bob Bennett was created in Downey, California in 1955; after first picking right up guitar at age group nine, he produced a rock-band while in senior high school, but after transforming to Christianity through the past due 1970s his music started to reveal his new trust. Debuting in 1979 with First Items First, 3 years later on he came back with Matters from the Center, voted Recording of the entire year by Modern Christian Music Journal. After issuing 1985’s nonfiction, Bennett toured with Amy Give, adopted in in 1989 by Lord of days gone by: A Compilation, which obtained a CCM number 1 hit using its name monitor; another chart-topper, “Yours Only,” soon made an appearance as well. Tunes From Shiny Avenue, an idea album discovering the dissolution of Bennett’s relationship, adopted in 1991, and in 1997 he resurfaced with Little Graces.
