Bob Allen

b. 1913, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, d. 24 Apr 1989, Stockton, California, USA. In addition to being truly a ballad vocalist with a wealthy baritone tone of voice, Allen was good-looking and got a romantic picture. He studied in a conservatory in Cincinnati, before becoming a member of the lovely and advanced Hal Kemp Music group in 1933, and offering on the music group’s broadcasts over WGN radio from Chicago’s Dark Hawk Cafe.
