Earning descriptions as vivid as “acid-punk” and “Krautcore,” Bo Ningen feature vocalist/bassist Taigen Kawabe, guitarists Kohhei Matsuda and Yuki Tsujii, and drummer Monchan Monna. While every one of the bandmembers originally hail from different metropolitan areas in Japan, they fulfilled in London. Taigen and Kohhei initial linked in 2006, when the rings these were in at that time were on a single bill; sick and tired of the post-rock they’d been using those works and in the disposition for something heavier, they started working jointly. Yuki became a member of the flip after hearing the duo perform on the LCC Audio Art Faculty, as well as the developing band jammed within a Hackney studio room up to 12 hours per day. Ultimately Monchan finished the lineup, and Bo Ningen started playing their initial official displays in 2007. After putting your signature on to Stolen Recordings, they produced their documented debut in ’09 2009 using the Koroshitai Kimochi EP, that they followed using their self-titled first record this year 2010. The band’s effective live performances gained them high-profile gigs including Yoko Ono’s Meltdown Festival as well as the 2011 Venice Bienniale. Bo Ningen came back using their second record, Line the Wall structure, in 2012, while its follow-up, 2014’s III, highlighted collaborations with Savages’ Jehnny Beth and Ruler Midas Sound’s Roger Robinson.
