Bluford D. Wade

A bizarre trivial footnote in rock and roll background, Bluford D. Wade sang the business lead vocals on “Provide Me Like,” which offered as the B-side of Rosie & the Originals’ strike 1960s rock and roll ballad “Angel Baby.” This chaotic, made-up-on-the-spot midtempo R&B rocker just got in the record because Rosie & the Originals, on the documenting program that yielded “Angel Baby,” just acquired that one tune to record, and required something for the B-side. Wade was an area R&B vocalist, asked to sing and compose “Provide Me Like” on the program, with backing with the Originals. “Provide Me Appreciate” was reissued in the Ace Compact disc THE VERY BEST of Rosie & the Originals, though it was the just Rosie & the Originals monitor which Wade participated.
