New York-based noise pop act BLUFFING was shaped in March of 2012 by drummer/vocalist J Boxer and guitarist/vocalist Olivia Drusin; the initial mission declaration for the music group was to never let a music complete the two-minute tag, keeping issues concise and catchy. The group’s sound was as weighty with hooks since it was reviews, and they shortly expanded to add second guitarist Sammy Weissberg, plus they rotated between bassists Charlie DY and Madeline Dark. Their debut record, Sugar Coated Supplements of Intelligence, was documented at Brooklyn D.We.Y. place Silent Barn’s studio room wing Upcoming ’86.
