Blues Control

Made up of Russ Waterhouse (guitar, electronic devices) and Lea Cho (keyboards), Queens-based noise rock duo Blues Control founded themselves as an enthralling live act and, carrying out a group of limited-edition produces about cassette and vinyl, produced their established CD debut in 2007 having a self-titled album about Holy Hill. Blues Control produced their documenting debut in January 2006 having a self-titled cassette within the label Palsy. The Riverboat Styx cassette adopted in Sept 2006. A 12 months later the brand new York Town duo released the 12″ LP Puff on Woodist, the CD-R A COMPLETE Container (a compilation offering the Palsy tape along with other recordings) on Controlling Expectations, as well as the Compact disc/LP Blues Control on Holy Hill. Among these many produces, the Blues Control recording garnered probably the most acclaim among critics, especially within the blogosphere. Local Taste (2009), the Laraaji cooperation Frkwys, Vol. 8 (2011), and Valley Tangents (2012) adopted in quick succession.
