Blueridge

A lively and technically gifted music group, Blueridge play straight-ahead bluegrass with contemporary attitude and energy. Well known mandolinist Alan Bibey created the initial Blueridge in 1998, and released their debut Common Floor a year later on, beginning a long-term romantic relationship with the Sugars Hill label. Another edition from the music group — with guitarist and previous songwriter for the Lonesome River Music group, Junior Sisk becoming a member of — was noticed on 2002’s COME WITH Me, an recording released beneath the name Baucom, Bibey & BlueRidge. Users Eddie Biggerstaff (bass), Joey Cox (banjo), and Alan Johnson (fiddle) became a member of Bibey and Sisk for 2004’s Hand and hand.
