Reading, England-based indie pop clothing Blueboy had been led by singer Keith Girdler and guitarist Paul Stewart, who previously teamed in the little-known Feverfew. Upon documenting the initial Blueboy demo within a friend’s shed, the duo delivered a copy from the music “Clearer” towards the famed Sarah Information label, which decided to launch the monitor as an individual in nov 1991; with the next improvements of second guitarist Harvey Williams (of Field Mice/Another SUNSHINEY DAY fame), vocalist/cellist Gemma Townlet, bassist Tag, and drummer Lloyd, the group came back in middle-1992 with “Popkiss,” quickly accompanied by the full-length If Desires Had been Horses.
