Blue King Brown

A socially conscious reggae, Afro-beat, Latin, R&B, funk, and percussion-based metropolitan roots band away of Melbourne, Australia, Blue Ruler Dark brown are centered around their active lead singer Natalie Pa’apa’a, recently referred to as Nattali Rize, as well as the songwriting group of Rize and bassist Carlo Santone. The music group had its origins in Byron Bay, Australia when Rize and Santone started working being a percussion duo, ultimately joining a music group called Skin, which in turn formed the foundation of Blue Ruler Brown following the few relocated to Melbourne in 2004. The music group itself is really as very much a jam-based collective as other things, with a liquid membership relating to situation and availability (the primary is normally Rize on acoustic guitar, percussion, and business lead vocals; Santone on bass; percussionist Salvador Persico; Sam Deal on keyboards; and drummer Pete Wilkins), but BKB’s constantly powerful concert events and Rize’s charismatic stage existence, whatever this lineup, have gained the group a faithful and passionate group of fans wherever it takes on. BKB released a self-titled EP independently Roots Level Information imprint in 2005, pursuing it using the full-length OPERATE, again on Origins Level, in 2006. Another full-length, Worldwize, Pt. 1: North & South, made an appearance from Lion Home Records this year 2010. Born Free of charge, recorded partly at Tuff Gong Studios in Kingston, Jamaica and offering guest spots from your legendary Congos while others, found its way to 2014, once again from Lion Home Records.
