Blue Flannel

A great and humorous music group that arrived of Columbus, GA in the 1990s, Blue Flannel gave itself that name being a parody of Seattle’s grunge picture (where flannel was worn regularly). The irritated, angst-ridden lyrics that characterized a whole lot of grunge certainly are a long way in the quirky, amusing lyrics of Blue Flannel, that was founded by singer Derek Coile. Initially, Coile didn’t consider Flannel everything that seriously and regarded it only a hobby. However when the foursome (which also included guitarist Derek Montomgery, bassist John Barry and drummer Eric Talbot) began to gain a little local following experimenting Georgia, he begun to take a look at his music group as a genuine career. Flannel continuing to attract interest touring the Southeast, and continued to indication with MCA. In Sept 1998, MCA released Flannel’s debut recording, XL, as well as the bratty solitary “POSSESSING A Bad Day time.”
