Blue Angel was a fresh York-based pop/rock and roll quintet comprising Cyndi Lauper (b.1953 06 20, Queens, NY) (vocals), Arthur Neilson (guitar), Lee Brovitz (bass), John Turi (keyboards, saxopbone), and Johnny Morelli (drums). They released one self-titled recording on Polydor Information in 1980. Lauper later on launched an effective solo career.
