Bloodboy

Los Angeles-based designer Bloodboy bridges the worlds of post-punk and pop while challenging gender functions and identity. Given birth to Lexie Papilion in San Clemente, California, she stations the rawness and power of Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Karen O, Juliette Lewis, and Debbie Harry having a razor-sharp feeling for melody and groove influenced by major affects just like the Clash and David Bowie. She began writing tunes while still in primary school, documenting her first initial tune about Sept 11 when she was simply 11 years of age.
