Blood Duster

Australia’s Bloodstream Duster has good-naturedly offensive grindcore that’s distinguished with the band’s tasteless love of life and, oftentimes, much Southern rock and roll or stoner rock and roll element. They will have proven little wish to tour the planet beyond Australia, but possess gained a good following within their house country in addition to some recognition within the U.S., because of their association with prominent underground label Relapse Information. Produced in 1991, the music group provides since undergone many lineup changes; the only real constant members have already been bassist/songwriter Jason P.C. and vocalist Tony Banking institutions. Their first formal discharge, an EP entitled Fisting the Deceased, arrived in 1993 in the Aussie label Dr. Jim’s and was intensely influenced with the past due-’80s grindcore of such Earache label rings as Carcass and Napalm Loss of life. Another EP, Yeest, implemented in 1995, with Matt Rizzo and Fin Felini rounding out the music group on drums and electric guitar, respectively. Yeest was released within the U.S. by Relapse Information, with the sooner Fisting the Deceased tacked on being a reward. In 1997, Bloodstream Duster returned with a fresh drummer, described just as Euan, and released Str8 Outta Northcote. The design on this record was less solely grindcore and much more groove-oriented; “100% Milling Death Rock and roll” is the way the music group themselves tagged it. Following a short hiatus and some more lineup adjustments, they documented the tastefully entitled Cunt, that was released in 2000 in Australia and 2001 within the U.S. Because of this discharge, Matt Rizzo was back the drum seat, while a fresh guitarist, Matt Collins, took over for Felini.
