Founded in 2000 in Johannesburg, South Africa, the indie rock and roll work BLK JKS is definitely made up of guitarists Lindani Buthelezi and Mpumi Mcata, who was raised collectively in Johannesburg’s East Rand, and Soweto natives Molefi Makananise (bass) and Tshepang Ramoba (drums). BLK JKS produced their international documenting debut in 2007 having a limited-edition 10″ vinyl fabric release from the solitary “Lakeside”. In 2008 the music group was befriended by Diplo throughout a DJ tour of South Africa, and after he pass on some positive term about them, BLK JKS had been offered a documenting agreement with Secretly Canadian, among America’s leading indie rock brands.
