Bliss

Danish digital quartet Bliss create ambient soundscapes riddled with cinematic textures and downbeat bravado. Frequently compared to performers like Massive Assault and Sade, the group was the brainchild of article writer/suppliers Marc-George Anderson and Steffen Aaskoven. Vocalists Tchando and Alexandra Hamnede offer Bliss with soulful shows that reveal their alternately African-tinged and jazz-based foundations, leading to an ethereal stew of pan-global atmosphere. The group is a Western fixture for a long time, debuting in THE UNITED STATES in 2005 with Calm Characters, a 12-monitor collection culled from both 1st and second editions from the Western release.
