Blinker the Superstar began being a one-man music group in the cellar of after that-22-year-old Toronto local Jordon Zadorozny carrying out a fireplace in his parents’ music shop that led to instruments and documenting equipment getting stored in his cellar. Zadorozny’s music is normally proudly lo-fi, utilizing as much low-budget results and recording methods as he is able to improvise. The music on Blinker the Star’s self-titled debut record, that was released in 1995, will be the primary cellar recordings; Zadorozny refused to redo them in a studio room for concern with losing interesting errors or results he didn’t remember how exactly to duplicate. Bourgeois Kitten implemented in 1996; August All over the place, Blinker the Star’s Dreamworks label debut, made an appearance three years afterwards.
