Emo-leaning alternative rock and roll outfit Blinded Dark was founded within the middle-2000s by vocalist Jeff Nizick, drummer Jake Rohlmann, and guitarist Nick Rohlmann. It wasn’t a long time before the St. Louis staff had documented and self-released their debut record, and as regional support elevated, the music group embarked on a circular of dates through the entire Midwest to progress themselves beyond their city’s limitations. Thanks to the people getting the phrase out via MySpace, audience turnouts were reputable as well as the response positive. Inspired to take the next phase, Blinded Dark — curved out by guitarist Mike Smith, bassist Tyler Hanks, and keyboardist Chuck Kraus — started searching for the support of the label, and finished up nearing California-based SideCho Information, drawn in from the label’s roster of rings like Tokyo Rose and MC Lars. Several showcases later on and it had been official. Blinded Dark subsequently strike the studio room with maker Marc McClusky (Strike the Lamps, Norma Jean) to accomplish their SideCho debut. Beneath the Sunrise surfaced in Feb 2007, along with a springtime tour with Lovehatehero and Vanna adopted.
