Because the early ’80s, instrumental rock and roll trio Blind Idiot God (whose name is really a mention of science fiction author H.P. Katz added to Dub Terror Exhaust, the 1994 debut by Laswell’s ambient dub task Automaton. Epstein remaining BIG in 1996, as well as the band continued an indefinite hiatus. Blind Idiot God came back in 2001 when Khanate drummer Tim Wyskida became a member of the band.
