Blessed Death

Arguably the only real band ever sold to feature identical twins for the rhythm section, Blessed Death were NJ thrashers featuring vocalist Larry Portelli, guitarists Jeff Anderson and Nick Fiorentino, bassist Kevin Powelson, and drummer Chris Powelson. Produced in 1984, simply as the quickness metal motion was over the up, Blessed Loss of life released two hyper-technical but badly created albums: 1985’s Eliminate or End up being Killed and 1987’s unfortunately prophetic Destined for Extinction — and general customer indifference silently drove them into pension.
