Shaped in 1998 by Inverness indigenous Bruce MacGregor, Blazin’ Fiddles is certainly a normal Celtic fiddle group located in the Highlands and islands of Scotland. MacGregor’s first intention was to construct a one-off group for the 1998 Highland Celebration, to be able to showcase the many different fiddle varieties of the Highlands region through sort of local supergroup of players.
