Blaspheme

Briefly active through the mid-’80s, French rock band Blaspheme was formed in 1981 simply by Marc Fery (vocals), Pierre Holzhaeuser (acoustic guitar), Philippe Guadignino (bass), and Regis Martin (drums), who lent seriously from Iron Maiden to concoct their eponymous 1983 debut and its own 1985 follow-up, Desir de Vampyr. Sadly, the group’s insistence on performing in French hampered their worldwide prospects and do them little great within the small local picture, aswell. By all accounts, Blaspheme had been background by 1987, and even though rumors of the re-formation surfaced in 1999, it under no circumstances came to move.
