Biography

The brainchild of Hush Information president Chad Crouch, this group originally began after being asked to execute in a friend’s wedding reception. Comprising from jazz and rock and roll to bossa nova and pop, Blanket Music continuing to execute around Portland, OR. Likened frequently to Belle and Sebastian in addition to Nick Drake, Blanket Music released its debut work, Fine in 2000 on Hush Information. A divide EP with Sound for Pretend was well received by both press and supporters. Blanket Music also released a divide EP with Reclinerland. In 2002, the music group rounded its audio with the addition of two feminine vocalists, Corrina Repp and Esperanza Spalding; they released Move around in 2002.
