Blair String Quartet

Christian Teal and Cornelia Heard (violins), John Kochanowski (viola) and Sophistication Mihi Bahng (cello) serve as the Quartet-in-Residence at Vanderbilt College or university; they also have performed on the Library of Congress, the Kennedy Middle and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. Furthermore to traditional recordings by Mendelssohn, Debussy and Ginastera, the Blair spent some time working with modern traditional composers such as for example John Harbison, George Rochberg and George Tsontakis, and with jazz banjoist Bela Fleck and bassist Edgar Meyer.
