Bennett, and released it beneath the group name Blackie & the Rodeo Kings, a mention of the title of the record Bennett released in 1978. The record was well received both commercially and critically, and in 1999 the three reconvened for another record, Kings of Appreciate, where they covered music from a number of different tunesmiths, in addition to presenting several original quantities. In 2004, Blackie & the Rodeo Kings released Bark, their initial record dominated by first materials, which solidified the group’s solid, scrappy fusion of blues, nation, and rock affects.
