Black Stone Cherry

Fiery Southern rockers Dark Rock Cherry originally hailed from a little rural city in southern central Kentucky. Based on the bandmembers, non-e of whom had been given birth to before 1983, having less anything to accomplish within their hometown, in conjunction with a wealthy musical background within their community and family members, led them to start out playing music. Business lead vocalist and guitarist Chris Robertson fulfilled drummer John Fred Youthful (the child of Kentucky Headhunters’ Richard Youthful) in college, and both played music collectively throughout senior high school. In June of 2001, Dark Rock Cherry officially created with guitarist Ben Wells and bassist Jon Lawhon. They started holding displays at night clubs in the region, and after some time they gained a big all-ages pursuing. The band documented its first record for In de Goot/Roadrunner Information, and after coming back from the documenting session, Dark Stone Cherry kept a homecoming concert at the neighborhood senior high school. Their self-titled debut record premiered in July of 2006, accompanied by Folklore and Superstition in 2008. It performed well in the graphs, both in the us and across European countries. The band’s third record, 2011’s Between your Devil & the Deep Blue Ocean, was documented in LA with manufacturer Howard Benson (Daughtry, Three Times Sophistication). It peaked in the Best 40 from the record graphs in their house country, and strike the top place in the uk. The music group toured the world in support and earned fans as a long way away as Japan. In 2013 the united states duo Florida Georgia Range protected the band’s “Stay” and strike the main spot on the united states chart. Afterwards that season the music group reentered the studio room with manufacturer Joe Barresi. In Apr of 2014, Dark Stone Cherry released a preview one, “Me and Mary Jane,” which inserted the graph at amount 29 before their 4th record, Magic Hill, was released in-may. After American and U.K. travels, the music group took a rest in early 2015. They performed the summer celebration circuit and reentered Barrick Documenting Studio room, where their eponymously entitled debut recording had been slice. MANY THANKS, Live, a Dvd and blu-ray using their Magic Hill tour, premiered in Oct. In Dec of 2015, the brand new single “JUST HOW into the future” premiered, and “INSIDE OUR Dreams” found its way to January of the next 12 months. The self-produced recording Kentucky, which Dark Stone Cherry known as a back-to-the-roots affair, premiered in Apr of 2016.
