Dark Rose was a pop/rock and roll group formed simply by Cher and her then-boyfriend, guitarist Les Dudek, in 1979. Filling in the band had been Warren Ham (vocals, acoustic guitar), Ron Ritchotte (acoustic guitar), Michael Finnigan (keyboards), Trey Thompson (bass), and Gary Ferguson (drums). They produced one self-titled recording, and Cher and Dudek’s love, and the music group, found an end.
