Northampton, MA-based Dark Pyramid were given birth to in 2007 using the union of vocalist/guitarist Andy Beresky, bassist Eric Beaudry, and drummer Clay Neely, who have got previously been associated with rings want Artimus Pyledriver, Dark Fucking Doom, and Palace in Thunderland. Therefore, their existing cable connections inside the stoner rock and roll and doom neighborhoods quickly resulted in a hookup using the Meteor Town label as well as the release of the 2008 EP and 2009 full-length — both self-titled — having a progressive mixture of doom, drone, and post-metal affects. The latter discharge also introduced fresh bassist Gein instead of the departed Beaudry.
