Black Death

Produced in 1977 by strangely called vocalist and lead guitarist Siki Spacek, Ohio’s Dark Death arguably contain the distinction to be the world’s initial all-African-American rock group. The group gradually gained an area following, but discovered it difficult preserving a well balanced lineup, in order that their initial and only record — also known as Black Loss of life and offering second guitarist Greg Hicks, bassist Darrell Harris, and drummer Phil Bullard — just surfaced in 1984. Dark Loss of life vanished from view only a short while later and is not noticed from since.
