A distinctive acoustic ensemble, Dark Kitty Orchestra’s music includes diverse globe music affects from Eastern European countries, Asia, and Latin America. Produced in Seattle in 1991, the orchestra (including horn participant Don Crevie, cellist Lori Goldston, saxophonist Scott Granlund, accordion participant Kyle Hanson, vocalist Jessika Kenney, drummer Emily Marsh, and dual bassist Jeff Teitelbaum) provides created and performed music for myriad film soundtracks and theater works. They will have also documented with David Byrne and made an appearance on National Community Radio’s This American Lifestyle.
