In 2011, Move Town announced that RTX, the band Jennifer Herrema founded after renowned art-noise rockers Royal Trux disbanded, would continue performing beneath the name Dark Bananas (the title of the song from the band’s album Traditional western Xterminator). Along with Herrema, the lineup continued to be stable, carrying on to feature Jaimo Welch, Brian McKinley, Kurt Midness, and Nadav Eisenman; their initial album as Dark Bananas, Rad Moments Xpress IV, found its way to early 2012. The group came back two years afterwards with Electric SOLID WALL, another noisy mix of glam steel, funk and even more.
