Bixo da Seda

Seminal Brazilian rock-band inspired by Green Floyd and Yes, the Bixo da Seda, led by Fughetti Luz, was using the Liverpool (that it derived), the initial rock groups through the Rio Grande do Sul state to truly have a nationwide reputation. Shaped by Fughetti (vocals), Pecos Pássaro (electric guitar), Mimi Lessa (acoustic guitar), Renato Ladeira (keyboards), Marcos Lessa (bass), and Edson Espíndola (drums), the group were only available in 1967 as Liverpool Seems, then transformed for Liverpool (affected from the Beatles as well as the Rolling Rocks), and in the first ’70s used the definitive denomination, shifting to Rio de Janeiro. Their just two albums had been Hei, Menina (1971) and Bixo da Seda (1975). In 1976, they truly became the assisting group for As Frenéticas.
