Bishop Reilly

Bishop Reilly is a cooperation between origins rock and roll songwriters Jeff Bishop and Robert Reilly. Longtime close friends and veterans from the East Coastline rock club picture from the ’90s and 2000s, both first fulfilled in Pa when their particular bands (Globe to Bob and 78 Western) had been booked together on a single bill. Over time they continuing to mix each other’s pathways, so that as their companionship grew so do their shared respect. As Bishop’s music group Globe to Bob was winding down, Reilly asked him to try out acoustic guitar on his 1st couple of single albums. Because they gradually found lean using one another’s skills, their collaboration grew into something even more co-dependent plus they created the duo Bishop Reilly. With Bishop occupying the part of maker/instrumentalist to Reilly’s vocalist/songwriter, they crafted their self-titled debut, that was released independently Eastern Information label in 2015. A warm mixture of heartfelt Americana and origins folk, the tunes are anchored by Reilly’s soulful vocals as well as the duo’s strong feeling of studio room and songcraft.
