Birthmark

The solo project of Nate Kinsella, formerly of Joan of Arc, Make Believe, and Decembers Architects and cousin of brothers Mike and Tim Kinsella, Birthmark finds the multi-instrumentalist striking from his own and looking for his own sound. Textural and split, the project originally began when Kinsella was wanting to compose the score for the friend’s film task. Years afterwards, the music would ultimately transform in to the Level, the 2007 debut from the Birthmark moniker. Kinsella implemented up this year 2010 with Shaking Hands before ultimately moving the task to Polyvinyl for the discharge of his third record, Antibodies, in 2012.
