Made up of vocalist/guitarist Cliff Usher and pianist/vocalist Lindsay Pitts, Birdlips are an alternative solution folk duo from Charlottesville, VA. Both musicians first worked well together available of Flies, a dance-rock music group that performed fraternity parties through the bandmates’ tenure in the College or university of Virginia. Following a band’s demise in middle-2007, Pitts and Usher continued to create Birdlips, utilizing a prosperity of tracks Usher wrote while studying overseas in Spain and backpacking across European countries. Previous bandmate Sean McVey was briefly brought on panel to take care of drum duties, as well as the music group decamped to Virginia’s Monkeyclaus Studios for the documenting of Carboard Wings.
