Bird Mancini

Boston, MA’s Parrot Mancini combines the abilities of four veteran music artists to make a combination between jazzy blues and rock and roll & move. The group’s name originates from vocalist and keyboardist Ruby Parrot and guitarist Billy Carl Mancini, both of the Sky Blues. The tempo section comprises of Bangalore’s Sven Larson on bass, and David Roy Kulik from the Roys and Four Piece Fit on drums. Parrot Mancini released their debut record in 2002 on Second Tale Productions. The record contains guest performances by Boston luminaries “Sax” Gordon Beadle; Dan Kellar of Tar Container Ramblers; and Phil Kaplan of Guys & Volts, Bangalore, as well as the Funeral Barkers.
