Named following the Chinese language word for snow cream, Bing Ji Ling may be the alias of N.Con.C.-centered singer/songwriter Quinn Luke. As Ling, Luke makes vintage-sounding pop that requires motivation from ’60s psychedelic pop and ’70s spirit. A indigenous of SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, Luke released the 1st Bing Ji Ling recording, Doodle Loot Doot Doodle a Doo, in 2003. 2 yrs later on he relocated to NEW YORK, and in 2006 shipped his sophomore recording, Fire and Snow Cream. In ’09 2009 he documented and toured as an associate of the likewise psychedelic, pop-inclined Phenomenal Handclap Music group for the group’s eponymous debut. In 2011, Ling released his third single effort, Darkness to Glow; he came back in 2014 with Sunlight for YOUR BRAIN.
