Billy Oskay

MODERN producer and session participant Billy Oskay was created and raised in Kingston, NY, where at age seven he 1st found the violin. From 1970 he researched under Eugen Prokop in the International Academy of Music situated in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, and a yr later gained his master’s level in music from Indiana’s Ball Condition College or university. In the years pursuing, Oskay going the music division at Oregon’s Mt. Angel University before becoming a member of the golf swing combo Everything’s Jake; through the past due 1980s, he also teamed with Irish guitarist Michael O’Domhnill to create the Celtic-influenced Nightnoise, issuing some LPs for the Windham Hill label you start with 1988’s By the end of the Night. And a stable touring plan, Oskay emerged like a prolific program musician, showing up on countless tasks headlined by John Doan, Dan Crary while others; at his Oskay Documenting studio room in Portland, OR, he also helmed a large number of other albums.
