Biography
Seattle-born William Rieflin (b. Sept 30, 1960) is among the most respected steel/commercial drummers from the last 10 years. Through his use Ministry which band’s countless aspect projects, Rieflin is becoming known as a robust and original drive within the choice scene. Through the early ’80s, Rieflin was an associate from the Blackouts, a Seattle-based hard rock-band. The lineup also included Paul Barker and Mike Scaccia, both upcoming associates of Ministry, in addition to Rieflin’s sibling Raymond. The Blackouts folded in 1987, and Barker confident Rieflin to become listed on him and Al Jourgensen within the recently reinvented Ministry. Jointly they produced among the seminal commercial albums, Property of Rape and Honey. Rieflin continuing to record and tour with Ministry in to the mid-’90s, along with the Revolting Cocks. He was also a normal guest using the commercial collectives Pigface and became a member of Chris Connelly’s single project. Nevertheless, Rieflin and Jourgensen dropped out through the periods for Filth Pig, as well as the relationship with Ministry was finished. He stayed a sought-after amount and documented with KMFDM, the Swans, and Nine Inches Fingernails. In 1999, Rieflin released his initial solo album, Delivery of a huge, featuring efforts for guitar-maestro Robert Fripp. The record was well-received, confirming Rieflin’s popularity among the most gifted drummers of modern times.
