Having offered his musical apprenticeship in the Military Air Force Music group, Bill Pannell created his first dance music group orchestra in 1945 in Fresno, California, USA. This group remained predominantly within the western coast, and presented singers Allan Ruler and Kenny Kenniston. Their longest engagement was a 10-yr stand on the Hollywood Roosevelt Resort, with record agreements for Val, Fanfare, Anco and London Information. Later they used in the NEVADA lounge circuit, but right now the music group had decreased from its primary power of 12 to support the greater austere financial environment facing dance rings. The group continuing, often time for the Roosevelt Resort, before early 70s, of which period Pannell was compelled to stop his career being a music group leader due to the onset of the arthritic condition.
