Biography

An extremely flexible and gifted reed participant, Expenses Easley’s displayed a refined, forceful audio on alto, tenor and baritone saxophones; flute; and clarinet. He went to Memphis State College or university through the ’60s, and later on caused Isaac Hayes and do classes at Stax. Easley shifted back to NY and has documented classes for Sunnyside and Milestone. He’s used Sir Roland Hanna, Wayne Williams, Expenses Mobley, Mulgrew Miller, Grady Tate, George Caldwell, Victor Gaskin, and Billy Higgins amongst others. His classes can be found on CD.
