Bill Dicey

b. 25 Might 1936, Annapolis, Maryland, USA, d. 14 Apr 1993. Dicey started playing harmonica at age three, and flipped his focus on blues about five years later on. In his teenagers he was the drummer with an normally all-black music group playing well-known R&B strikes of your day. In 1953 he was drafted, and after his release, his desire for music waned. Within the middle-60s Dicey was located in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was enticed into playing harmonica once again, and worked well (and documented some unissued materials) with Pal Moss. In the past due 60s he resolved in NY, where he was connected with Charles Walker. Dicey also became a prolific program musician with Spivey Information. He documented under his very own name for the P&P, Spivey and JSP brands and, while his vocals had been rudimentary, his blues harmonica playing was excellent.
